what do you guys think about running a set of drag radials everyday? Not the ET streets on 15"s but on the FR500s i plan on getting soon
My daily street tires are M&H drag radials (325/45-17). That's all I've run on the road since early 2007. Love 'em!

this is my only streetable car right now, my other one is a full out race car... so is driving on DRs reasonable in the rain as long as you dont screw around?

No experience but I doubt DR's in the rain is anything close to ideal. Why not get an extra pair of rear wheels/tires for the street? Safer and cheaper in the long run unless you're street racing every time you leave your driveway..

That's a good way to put it. We don't get much rain here in San Diego, but when we do, I take it very very easy on the DRs. Especially considering the buttload of bottom end torque I have.

Coming back from Fontana a few months ago, it started to rain. My freinds C5 on Drag Radials got sideways on the freeway. Scariest thing in the world. And they only had 5 runs on them.

Those are the noisest street tires I've ever had. I thought something was wrong with the car when I got a set of those. They make traditional snow tires and many offroad truck knobbies seem quiet by comparison. I know a few other people that got rid of them with less than 5,000 miles on them due to all the road noise.
