Struts and shocks, what fits? Suggestions...

Trying to figure out what struts and shocks will interchange between models and years...

Vendors list them fitting 05-10 GT and 11-14 GT500. Also show GT 05-10' one part number and GT 11-14' another part number.

Does that mean 2011 GT 500 takeoff's will fit my 2006 GT? I found a cheap set of takeoff's...

Also if anyone has any suggestions for budget friendly struts and shocks for a daily driven car lowered on sportlines I'd love to hear them. Right now I'm leaning toward Koni orange or if they fit a set of new takeoff 2011 GT500 takeoffs...

As long as you match the strut and the mount, any combo will fit in any car. The top of the strut in the 11-14 GTs is unique and requires a unique strut mount. All of the GT500s from these years use the same upper design as the older GTs.
When I upgraded to Bilsteins I wanted to use the OEM GT500 mounts so I fitted shocks for the 05-10 GTs in my 12GT; no problem.

Ok cool. When I did the sportlines I used GT500 upper mounts so I shouldn't have any problem with using the GT500 struts correct?

They will fit. i don't know how well the shock and sportline combo will work, but you can probably find some info on that with a search on here.
