i ordered some CHE relocation brackets about 2 months ago and just decided to put them on...when i recieved them they looked really well made and stout.

Go to install them; WHAT A PAIN!!

try the driver side first....wont slide on, so i clamp the oem LCA bracket a little and push it on...next...bolt holds wont line up...screw that side...

go to the passenger side...bolt holes wont line up. Ok so i grab my dremel and grind a little away at a time.....one side took 45 minutes because i didnt want to grind off to much. FINALLY LINES UP.

back to the drive side...look at the bolt holes where the bolt goes through the oem bracket..neither of them line up. Stick a smaller bolt through it to see how it would effect the bracket. Lower the car and watch the flex as the GF backs the car off of the blocks of wood and then forward as i watch...goes forward and PAH; bracket bends to all hell so i just pull it off and have $120 in metal in my garage. I took my steeda billet LCA's off as well because of too much gear whine coming into the cabin...

Now im looking at Whiteline or BMR. Whiteline LCA's because of their new bushings and BMR because alot of people recommend them; anyone have any issues with whiteline Relo brackets not fitting?

BMR has probably the best fitting and beefiest brackets in the business. I've been through their facility and their stuff is top of the line. Every single BMR item I've put on my car has lined up perfectly.

ya im leaning towards them... right now

Not many people have issues with these. Was everything installed right?

pretty sure..the instructions were really straight forward and i dont see it as a difficult job to do. The only part that would be in question would be the driver side oem bracket being bent maybe? I dont see how it would have, the stickiest tire that has been on this car is Nitto invos and im on stock tune still

Sorry to hear this.

Before I go any further, I want it to be known that I respect CHE and their products - and recommend their Axle Brace on a daily basis, because it IS the best engineered piece on the planet. Honestly, we have not created our own because we fell theirs is about as good as it gets....

That said - fitment issues with their brackets are not uncommon, at all. There are plenty of people who have to modify these brackets to fit. There are probably 5 threads alone on this site.

Every company goes through things such as this - it is just part of the manufacturing game.

Our brackets are in the top 5 selling product here at BMR. We sell an astounding amount, and I may get 2-3 calls a year about fitment - and it is typically easily revolved on the phone, and never drilling required, cutting, etc.

I would be silly not to recommend, and/or state that our brackets are the best in the business. I truly believe they are. If you have ANY questions about them, please don't hesitate to ask in this thread, or call me direct at 813-986-9302 Ext 103

So you didnt install the DS one correctly and bent it all to hell?

I have the UMI ones and they were tight fit, but nothing like your issue.

Took me like 10 minutes to install my Griggs brackets. Couple of bolts and done. They slid on and lined up perfectly.

Took a mallet and some swearing to get the UMI brackets to line up on my 06 car.

No issues with mine and have run them for several years.

The install instructions:
http://www.cheperformance.com/instructions/CHE1L/CHE1L.html

Step 5:
On the Driver's Side of the vehicle, install the Anti-Squat Bracket on the control arm mount of the axle. Inspect the alignment of the Anti-Squat Bracket holes with the factory Control Arm mounting holes. Due to factory variance, it may be necessary to enlarge the hole on the Anti-Squat Bracket for proper alignment. Do not enlarge the factory holes.

ya i seen that...but this was like farrrrr off...wouldnt that jeopardize the bracket have the ability to move around by enlarging the wholes? and were talkin going from i.e. a 14mm to 16 mm with the bracket have the ability to bend up and down

No because there are tabs inside the brackets that line up to keep the brackets in place at the bottom. Enlarging the hole on the bracket side has no affect on the bracket location.

I installed my Whiteline Relo brackets and everything worked perfectly. If I didn't get such a great deal on them, I would have bought BMR.

FRPP brackets here. They're beefy and were a perfect fit. I wouldn't hesitate to run the BMR ones though.

"Due to factory variance" is BS IMO. It's an excuse for having poor fitment.
