IMO the main thing you need to watch out for with Max and Ultra perfromance tires is how well they behave in the wet. Of course if you live somehwere where it never rains or never drive your car in the rain then it doesn't matter.

Bump for new developments. I am keeping my 2006, but that doesn't change anything really. Since I'll still be ordering basically the same parts. Also, I have been milling around the idea of going 18x10 all the way around with 285's at all four corners. Is it a bad thing to be indexed into a SCCA class that I won't really be competing well in? I mean, I'm not trying to bring home trophies I'm just trying to have fun. Also, since I'm keeping the '06 I should be able to afford to make it to more NASA HPDE Events this year. A particular setup doesn't change anything with HPDE events, from my understanding, correct? Would 285's at all four corners be to much tire on a otherwise fairly stock car? I plan on superchargering around fall/winter since I won't have a car payment anymore.

Ok - Ordering stuff from Sam this week! Finally! Also hopefully picking up some new wheels and tires from someone who has posted in this here thread!

After review here is the list of what I am looking for at the moment:

GT500/FRPP Front strut mounts
Koni SRT.T struts
Steeda Sport Springs
UMI On Car adjsutable PHB w/ Roto joint
Rota G-Force Wheels 18x9 (Sticking with the rubber that is coming on them for now, NT05's as soon as I can afford them.)
Brembo/GT500 Front brakes (Two sets of rotors front and rear for track use and a set of DTC 60's front and rear. Still not 100% on pads yet.)

Very near future:
Stranoparts Front and Rear adjustable sways w/ comp. endlinks.
CHE A-Arm Brace
FRPP/ARP Stud's and hubs
Racing Seats
Autopower Roll bar w/ Harness bar.
