Tachometer, fuel gauge, cruise controls, tcs, and hazard light buttons all do not work. How to fix?

So the title includes all my issues, just picked up an 05 4.6 GT but none of those buttons or the two gauges work. All the backlights do work well though, so what could be the issue? Let me know if any other info is needed or another thread has my answers, and thanks in advance for the help.

Check the fuses and the terminals inside the smart junction box behind the passenger side kick panel for corrosion. I suspect the SJB has been contaminated with water that has leaked either from the cowl (blocked cowl drains) via the cabin air filter, or through dry rotted cowl retaining grommets that sit under the windshield, into the passenger side foot well.
These are by far the commonest causes of electrical gremlins in these cars.

Thanks, I’ll check it out tomorrow or the day after, it wouldn’t be unlikely since the car was brought over from Alberta

I second checking the fuses.

The illumination for some things is a separate circuit from the functionality, so it doesn't surprise me that the lighting works when the component isn't.

Search the forum for SJB or "Smart Junction Box" and you should pull up a bunch of posts with diagrams. Also, if you still have it, the vehicle manual has a listing.

Just don't probe any of it (unless you like sudden trips to the back seat).

If you disconnect the battery and wait a bit, you can go through all the fuses and check them over. I only say that because some are related to the SRS and PATS and are bested touched when there's no power.

Here's a fuse/relay diagram of the SJB:

It looks like fuses 8 & 16 could be the problem children.
