I'm rebuilding my trans (5R55s), ordered a PA hardened input shaft from summit. They sent to me a TCI input shaft. I sent an email to summit customer service to inform the mistake and they replied that PA is Outsourcing tci for input shaft. PA sells for 90$ more than tCi just because of their "extended garranty". That's what they answered.

So question is:
Is PA input shaft (5r55s) the same one as Tci? Or they are trying to f*** me?

Note: i know that this is a tci input shaft, because it's written tci on it with s/n:579600.
(I ordered PA-27406)

They are the same. Usually PA grinds off the TCI S/N.
