There are very few fans of TCI on this forum...

PI is the way to go!

That's weird. We've had no issues with any of the TCI stalls.

Maybe you just got a bad one. It happens to the best of us.

Unhhh.. I'm really not sure how TCI is still in business.. I've had over 20 mustangs from early model 65 GT350H, to a 71 mach 1 and a bunch of 5.0s NO ONE that I have ever met that has EVER used a TCI has had good success with one.. I know several that have worked as well as a stocker but nothing that has lived up to the hype..
from what I have seen they are total crap and you are better off with a stocker.

We'll if we could get PI to actually return our phone calls so that we could start selling their product, we'd definitely give them a try.

BS! Torque converters require a little more thought than just jumping on the band wagon and buying one just for the sake of having it. My street car went from 12.teens to 11.70's after my TCI converter was installed. What Engine combo is the converter behind? N/A or forced induction/nitrous. It makes a huge difference on the required stall speed. I have a TCI ProX tranny and converter behind my 1000+ HP drag radial car and it has performed flawlessly. The converter they designed for it is on the money. Blanket statements like yours just make you look like a fool.

agreed.

i specified exactly what my car had done to it when i ordered my TCI converter for my 2005 GT back in 2006.

after it went it i lost almost 4 mph and only gained a tenth. yet my 60 ft dropped by over 2 tenths.
