I recently replaced the 6rib belt on my Whipple because my boost had dropped by 2lbs. The new belt did help, but im still down about 1lb. Im thinking either the bypass valve is bleeding off, or the tensioner is worn. When I push the side of the belt to check for deflection, should the tensioner move, at all?

how is the tensioner moving? It shouldn't move at all. ill bet the bearings inside are completely shot. You've got a whipple so you should be running a stronger tensioner anyway. Get a Thump_RRR, the initisal cost is high but you will NEVER need to change another tensioner again
