The Dominator Returns

The folks at R&A Motorsports are going to commemorate my beloved Dominator GT's. They are planning on debuting a New Dominator GT at the 45th Anniversary Celebration in Birmingham Alabama next April (http://www.mustangevents.org/MCA.cfm?home) Here is a picture of what they are planning for the car to look like. They are planning several different Stages from the Basic to a True Dominator!!!

They are planning a Dominator GT-8 V8 model and a Dominator GT-6 V6 Model!

I have been asked to be the third party Registrar of these new vehicles, since I was already working a registry of the existing Dominators sold by Summit Ford of Lee's Summit, Missouri from 1982 to 1990.

Update! The Dominator Returns!

Went ShelbyFest 2009 in Hermann, MO yesterday to see not only a bunch of Awesome Shelby Mustangs but also the debut of the R&A Motorsports 2010 Dominator GT-8 and the Dominator GT-6! Yes they are going to offer a 4.0 version!

They are still working on the final product. This car currently has a fully upgraded suspension, brakes, and a Pro-charger Intercooled Supercharger. They will also be offering Edelbrocks new supercharger and some other items. Contact R&A Motorsports for more details.

They also are planning on adding a Duck-Tail spoiler to the back. I am still not sold on the 2010 back end. We will see though if it improves with that Spoiler.

Procharger Intercooled Supercharger that they are still working on dialing in for the 2010, intention is to produce 500 Rear Wheel Horsepower.

FRS Suspension upgrade, Full JBA exhaust upgrade including Long Tube Headers, Brakes upgraded.

They also intend on offering the Edelbrock Supercharger as an option.

The cars are to commemorate a Special Edition sold from a Dealership called Summit Ford from 1982 to 1990, that dealership was once in the same building that R&A Motorsport is in now.

im sure their is a price for everything! i know we put the capri hatch on it saturday and they drove it around over the weekend, so im not to sure what their about to do with it!

Its only an infomercial if someone gets paid! I am in no way being compensated for sharing the information about these cars. In fact it makes more work for me if they sell cars because I have to add them to my registry. But what it does is stir up interest in what ultimately I am interested in... The original Dominators! I want to save the ones that still exist. The more interest there is in them... The more likely people are to hold onto them and let people know they have them!

That being said.. if you are interested in the new cars R&A Motorsports has posted updated info on the new Dominators on their website. I think they have created cars that pay homage to the Legend...

And if you know of somebody who has an original Dominator! Send them my Way!
