Thinking about selling my 2011. What do you guys think?

For those of you that don't know. I'm getting married come November. Well, I had no idea, but a wedding is freaking expensive!!!! I'm also trying to purchase a house at the same time. Talk about money overload... Anyways. Due to this, I'm pretty sure my 2011 is going to be going up for sale.

What do you folks think is a reasonable price to ask for my 2011 5.0? It'll be turn key with the hellion turbo system on it.

That would be a sick deal for someone. I paid 32K for my 11' last year with 5400 miles on it. Only if I would have waited a year. I think you would make a lot more on the car if you parted it out though, starting with selling me the hellion kit, lol. GL with the sale if you decide to sell it.

One piece of advice for you. Elope and take the money and put that towards getting a house. It is the way we went and we don't regret it one bit. I still ended up selling my car, but I wasn't expecting to be firing with both barrels and producing twins right off the bat!

Weddings aren't cheap. I dropped right around $15k on mine. Cars come and go but good idea to get marriage and house in order first fiscally speaking.

But they can be. My second wedding was $100. $50 for the license and $50 for the officiant. Just my opinion here, but big production weddings are WAY overrated. You aren't any more married than me, but you're a lot poorer. Take that money and go on a nice trip instead.

Typically the first wedding will always be more expensive. The 2nd ones are always cheaper because you've already been through it once, you already know the pain.
But, agree, big production weddings are overrated. Mine was a really nice wedding, everyone had a blast. But, the day went by so fast, I barely remembered it. That was $30k spent and I didn't even get to eat any cake other than our cutting of it.

Dude...good luck with the sale as someone will get a dynamite car for that price but +1 on the small wedding though. I fought n fought my wife and ended up spending a new mustang on one and we BOTH regret it ever since. Good luck with the sale n with marriage/house.

I'm with the cheap wedding guys. We got married in a city park for a couple hundred dollars. We didnt have big money for a wedding. Her sister had a couple of them...
The second best thing was avoiding the stress of big wedding, the stress from a small wedding was bad enough.

I think you're spot on with price for the car as-is. If you de-mod and sell the parts you'll probably come out a few thousand ahead of that.

IMHO, if you love the car, keep it. Or it will become the thing you loved that you gave up to pay for dinner and cake for a bunch of people at your wedding.

Our wedding isn't really that big. 95% of our guests are family.
It's an outdoor wedding with a very inexpensive reception afterwards at the same location. We are making a lot of our own invitations and decoration. It's just expensive. hands down.

I can build another car later on down the road. But a house and a wedding is more important to me.

Holy 80K dollar wedding batman! that's insane! I spent a couple hundred and got married on the beach in Hawaii...

So I don't remember what you said this car ran in the 1/4... I remember the comment about it running well and avg'd over 30 mpg there and back...
