Went to start car today after sitting for sometime, Initially started run for approx 2 minutes and then cut out. When i tried to restart I heard a clicking sound coming from the throttle control and car won't start. Noise stops when I disconnect the pig tail from controller, reconnect no clicking but car still will not start
Any ideas

Perhaps the accelerator pedal position sensor has died altogether.

Sorry it is throttle control side of throttle body not throttle position sensor

Edit: If the problem is on the throttle body side, have a buddy check if there's any movement of the blades when you slowly open the throttle wide with the ignition on/engine off. If the blades remain shut, the actuator has died and you'll need a new TB.
