Tire Help

Ok I have 18 x 9 bullets and I am wondering what tires I can fit on them. I want to put 275/40/18 but I have heard of people going wider. Would I be able to fit a 295/35/18 or a 285/40/18?? Can someone give me the proper input on this. I am just wondering about fitment issues. Thanks.

definitely no problem with the 285's imho. i'm running 275's on the stock 8.5 rim. a 285 is only about .25 wider, and you have another .5 to work with. i would do it.

pick a tire and check the manufactures specs on on approved sizes.... really pretty simple

I run 255/45 on my 18x9 and 285/40 on the 18x10.

I had heard that you can put a 315 on a 10 x 18 and they will go on our s197 but not sure I like to try this with my next tire purchase

widest on the front would be 275. You could put a 295 on back if you wanted. a 295/45/18 nitto would be pretty meaty

I did that already and it didn't list what I was looking for that's why I asked if anybody was running just to see. I know of people running pretty wide tires on our stock rims.
