Hey everyone looking for a decent drag radial that would be good for highway runs my goal mainly is not trying to spin 2nd gear on a 40 roll and good grip on twistys.

What's your car set up? If you want a DR get a NT555R they hook decent on curves. If your set up on motor get a KDW2 street tire and they hook. My car on a 100 shot would dead hook on the street so a 40 is no problem

Nittos or BFG. I have always been a fan of the BFG's in my previous cars.

Nitto street tires and bfg street tires will have about the same life. I've never had the chance to use bfg DR's yet so idk about the life of them. But in my opinion the kdw2 hooks damn good and looks bad ass from behind

I have BFG DR's on my Focus (had). That car saw the track every wed for an entire season. Car ran high 12s low 13s.
Before that those same tires where on my buddies Honda. And he ran low 13s as well with several trips to the beach and lot of road driving.
oh and i still have those tires...And there is still some tread life left after about 4+ years of service.

Get the KDWs. I have those Al, and ill take you for a ride. You should look into getting a wider wheel too.

I've had 2 sets of nitto 555r's and they have good street manners and they hooked at the track for me plus I got a little over 10k miles out if both sets. I highly recommend them but I have no use with other Dr's besides the old bfg drag radials.
