Hey guys wanted to know what our my best options for my 2012 GT I have 3.73 gears with control arms pan hand bar and 1.5 in drop running stock 255/40/19 my rims all around are 19x8.5 what’s biggest tire i can fit on there if I was to change out the rear tires and just the rear what rim and tire would be best where I wouldn’t have to worry about over steer or tire rubbing the fender thanks

I have 275's all around and it works perfectly. It's the perfect width IMHO.

255/40 is as wide as you should ever put on wheels that are only 8.5" wide.

A good staggered fitment with 255/40's on 19x8.5 front wheels would be 285/35-19's on 19x10's. 285/35's on 19x9.5's would be legitimately do-able from a tire size to wheel width perspective, but you could also end up with oversteer from too much throttle being more frequent or more sudden.
