Forget the tests, they are all fake. The big tire companies deliver extra tires to them nobody of us can buy these afterwards (I know someone from this part of industry). Sometimes they reduce the percentage of silica after the test to lower the price, and so on.
The only way to get defined tires are manufactured to OEM standard. E.g. for Mercedes they last a bit longer compared to BMW, but come with less traction. It is a trade off.

And, if you drive a for example a Goodyear today and you buy the same in two years from now, you get an other one even if the name is the same. It's a lottery.

just replaced the 555 g2's on the front of my car. They started wearing weird (inside AND outside on passenger side, just inside on drivers side). Pressure was always kept 40+ and alignment was in spec, I have it checked every 6-8 months. I can't complain too much as I got 61,000 miles out of them.

Got a killer deal on a pair of Continental DWS Extreme Contacts, first time running these.

Toyo proxes on mine, soft compound and the grip is good, only issue I can say is picking up gravel at low speeds because of the softer compound.

I actually have the same weird inner wear pattern on my passenger side NT555 G2 as well. Also has some scrubbing.

Might be time to switch
