Great points. Do you have the same Boss block (M-6010-BOSS50)?
If I go with this, will it require expensive machine work, or is it just a cleanup that's needed? What brackets did you need to mount to your engine mounts? I have the Prothanes. Thanks!
Yes. That's the block I used. I have a stroker crank and rods from another engine I used. The cylinders needed to be bored and honed. But that's needed when going to new pistons anyway. I think it was decked as well. I can't really remember back that far. I don t remember it running more than $200 for the machine work. It might've been cheaper than that. The engine was in my 01 Cobra. So I didn't have to mess with adapters.

That is a lot of money and the same block I linked above (M-6010-BOSS50) which is had for $1500, and internals would run about $2600, so they are charging $2000 in labor on a pre-bored block.

I can transfer my heads, blower and intake manifold, but I'd be lost as to assembling the internals. So to me, it's almost worth it to pay more and have it be done and balanced. It supports up to 1000hp and the CR is right for boost.
