I've also got some racestar 15x10s but I can't decide on what size et streets I want to slap on them.

If you are going to Baytown it will have to be on Friday night as they aren't open on Sunday. Hopefully at some point they will realize Friday night sucks for many people and will start running on Sunday again.

When did they shut off sunday racing? Last time i went a year ago we raced on a sunday. Change of plans now!

Yeah Sunday racing is nice (especially once Football season is over).

I MIGHT be out there this Friday with my friend in a supercharged corvette. If I can get the driveshaft installed I hope to run a 11.6-11.8

I wish i could have received tires before then :-(. I definitely want to go see yall's 5.0's run , maybe even get a few friendly matches in! Next week i will hopefully receive the tires and go out.

It actually looks as if I can't go afterall tomorrow; will be putting in 12 hours of overtime. I plan the Friday after though; I am getting my driveshaft put in tonight.

As far as Sundays they brought it back for a few weeks last year however since the name change and start of the new year, doesn't look like its going down. I know that they do bracket racing on Sundays but I believe they are in their offseason right now.

With an Auto, it should be in 4th gear with the OEM tune.

My tuned car does it in 3rd.

This. There is no way with the stock gears you are going into 5th. Even with a 26" tire. Mine would shift into 4th right at/past the line when I had the stock tune as well.

What kind of 60's where you getting? DA? Mine ran 12.9 stock at baytown. Went 12.2 at sealy with just a tune on stock pzeros.

I would have to find the slip to check the 60s, I can't remember off hand. I had done the math and was very surprised it was going into 5th but trust me I counted the shifts after the first run just to be sure and it was definitely going into 5th.

How are they as far as tech inspection on friday nights?

I don't have a roll bars yet.

What kind of times do you run or expect to run? To get tech'd in it doesn't require an overlook of the car at all; however if you much faster than the 11.49 they will begin to warn you.

I know my friend got "kicked out" two weekends ago in a 11.1 @ 131 car; however they gave him 2 warnings prior.

well last time out I ran 11.45@123 , turning up the boost a couple psi. with new tune.

It just depends on the night but you will likely get the boot for no cage if you are making more power now.

I am off next Friday so I'll be there as well and I suppose we can both get kick out, or maybe they won't notice me while harassing you. My experience has been if you stay close to 11.49 they will just tell you to slow down but if you bust off a 10.8 you will definitely get the boot and since I am planning on the latter I am sure to get kicked out.

Just received a text from my friend; made 1 pass tonight and got kicked.

He added meth to his setup and ran a 10.65 @ 135, no warnings tonight lol

Assuming the track is open I will be headed to Lufkin in the morning to see if this thing will make it into the 10's. If it runs as it did at HMP in the 1/8 mile it should be good for mid 10.80's.
