Get some real nice blower cams or go with an aftercooler.

What do you all think? If cams are a feasible/ideal route, which ones do you recommend?

The after-cooler would be ideal..I did cams and meth instead of the cooler, and I am happy with the results while still using the stock blower pulley and still peaking @ 10 lbs. boost..

I picked up almost 90hp from cams, the setup already had an intercooler though. Cams will definitely help though

Same dyno?

No, different dyno different day different weather different tuner different altitude = different number, ~89hp higher (also comp springs and phaser limiters). The weather was perfect that day though BUT this saturday is track day, the only reference I have was a 7.61 1/8th mile (420hp on the dyno) on a very hot and humid night, anxious to see what the new times will be. The first pull of 5 was 420, a little tuning and the next was 465ish, 3rd pull was in the 480's (can't remember the exact number), then he added more fuel and the next two runs were 509 back to back.

And so you're running cams on a stock block at 509 rwhp? Pretty damn stout. Is this intercooled?

On the dyno it recorded 9.6psi max, sometimes the gauge reads right at 10. The intercooler is the air-to-air 3-core that came with the procharger kit. The cams are the stage 2 comp blower cams SPR, got them off a forum member already installed in a set of heads, the install was a head swap but it worked best that way since the timing cover needed to be replaced (broken idler mount).

So are you getting some cams? :)

Probably, just because they seem to work well in conjunction with forced induction. NOW, here's the big question. Which ones do I get? What are the advantages of getting cams that require new valve springs, lockouts, etc?

Ok, awesome! I need to get some 4.10's to wake up the low end. I still have my gay 3.31's in the rear. :(

yes, get those out of there! granted i don't really put my car on long highway trips anymore, it still did good on the long drives: 2900-3000rpm on stock tires in 5th was probably 75-80mph, and 18mpg with the blower.
