So with my upcoming increase in hp and especially torque (I fully expect to see ~600/600 at the wheels next season), my stock 3650 trans will no doubt check out, possibly in spectacular fashion. It has some bearing noise in it now that's been there for awhile.
What are the options? They seem pretty limited for these cars. TR-6060 for around $4k. Upcoming T-56 Magnum...Any price on this thing yet? TKO600? Anyone swapped one in, is it even possible?
I wouldn't be too opposed to switching to a 4R70 or 5R55 if it can be done for a reasonable price with a nice converter in it. I do not want a C4 or anything without OD as I drive it quite a bit on the freeway.
