Whats the estimated completion date?

Couple of days for the driveshaft to be built by Dynotech (made to order), 5-6 business days for ground shipping, couple of days to install and troubleshoot... so if I am lucky, it could be ready Friday the 26th, but I'm not very lucky.

Good thing that everything except for the driveshaft is in stock and coming from JPC in MD to VA. So if Mike gets the tranny early, he can do all the instal except for the driveshaft. We'll see.

Brady I saw your car today, it looks sad sitting up in the air on the lift. Man did that thing ever twist of the front shaft. Mike is taking good care of it, nothing can get to in up in the air.

Thank you for the update, Earl! Glad that she is safe up there.

Mike is going to start tearing into it tomorrow. Have to wait and see what he finds. The wiring is tedious to replace but not tremendously expensive. I am worried about damage to the front of the engine or internally. That's a major expense.

Did Mike find out about the internals?

My T56, driveshaft, and all the supporting parts except for the McLeod RST have arrived at MAP. Getting closer!

Brady I saw a nice looking big box with Tremec on the side of it today.:thumb2: Like you said everything is there except the clutch. Did you talk to mike about welding the axle tubes?

I am still waiting for the insurance to make up their mind. I don't want to start tearing into it and then have them want more pictures or something.

Good call on the insurance. Let them see and decide what they are going to do.

A big Tremec box sounds good! Oh, I forgot to mention the axle tubes, thank you for the reminder! :thumb2: I just sent Mike a PM so I'll get that done while she is there.

Thanks, Eric! Nice meeting you at the track. Hope you get a clutch soon.

Waiting on word from my dealer to see if ford will warranty it. If not then I'm gonna have to keep riding it out being as I'm in the middle of buying a house. Sucks too, tried getting on her this morning and she just wouldn't go, even had some clutch smell. Nice meeting you as well

sent from, someone buy me a clutch..

My JPC T56 install is delayed due to Sandy. Hope to have her done by the end of the week. Good news is, Mike has her way up on the lift at MAP, so safe from the storm unless Richmond floods over 8 feet.

Thanks you, Mike Rousch, for taking care of her!

Update, got a message from Mike yesterday saying the stainless JPC clutch line had the wrong fittings, so they will try to use the rubber stock clutch line. Not sure what was wrong with the fittings, but I guess I can send it back to JPC and get the "right" one and install it later on. Just thought it would be easy to put it in there with the tranny out.

Update! She's all fixed!

Thank you to Greg H. for going with me today to pick her up. I appreciate the help in getting both cars back from Richmond. You're the best!

And Thank you to Mike Rousch! He and MAP did a great job of getting it all installed. Car runs great, the did a great job, and can't imagine a better experience. Highly recommend anyone needing work on their Mustang to check them out.

Test drive home all was well. Still breaking the clutch in, so will report back later with better review. All I know now is, I love it.
