Hey guys, I have a 2010 mustang gt, with a 5 speed manual. I really like the style of the short throw shifters, but don't particularly want the whole kit (or have the money for it)...what I would like to know is-

http://www.uprproducts.com/05-09-mustang-drivetrain.html

Will those (you may have to scroll down or turn the page, it's the trick stick shifter arm) fit the stock shifter?

Will these fit the satin style shift knob? http://www.americanmuscle.com/2010-shift-knob-satin.html

Also, what kind of install am I looking at?

From the UPR page:
"UPR’s Ultralight Trick Stick Shifter arm replaces the top half of any aftermarket 2 or 3 bolt short throw Mustang shifter."

The stock shifter doesn't use that 2-bolt design so this won't work on it.

As for the knob - that will work.
From the AM site:
Fits 05-10 Manual Mustangs w/stock handle

Do you know where I could get a stick like that for a stock shifter?

Not gunna happen. No one makes it cuz there's nothing to attach it to. The stock shifter shaft does not separate. Its one solid rod that the shift knob threads onto.

Here's a side-by-side of my stock one (top) and Hurst (bottom)
