Tried to start it for the first time....electrical issues

Bought an 07 without a motor, got everything put back together and finally tried to start it yesterday. I got one little click out of the starter, and then lost all power, not even dash lights.

The brand new battery seemed very unhappy, I'm wondering if accidently leaving the tender on fried it or something grounded wrong and back fed. I thought I might've seen a trickle of acid coming out of the case but not sure. Made some strange noises when I pulled the ground off too.

Any thoughts on what to check? Battery still putting out 12v, and both engine grounds are attached.

Nice and tight on battery. Going to dig around the other grounds tonight


Edit: solved. Blown SJB fuse and a bad ground.
