Same here.I always use Shell 93, is that cheap? I didn't know there was cheap gas. Where are the non-cheap ones?

I used only shell when I had my motor built last year for 2 months straight. Had to replace my springs and valves and have my heads cleaned up from all the crap that stuck to them.
Never used shell again and been great! Mobile for me
LOL. Okay.
So what is the problem in your opinion?
Dang that sucks. I have heard they use a lot of detergents in their fuel. We just got a mobile station here locally. I'll give them a try.

read the whole thing.
it doesnt matter who tunes it. if you hammer the motor they will know its been re-flashed at some point. and if youve done ANYTHING to alter the car from factory stock, your warranty is history. this TSB is Ford's authorization in writing to allow their technicians to tell you to go fuck yourself.
So Shell sucks? I've always thought they were a good brand.
Yeah, if you want detonation
And who are you to know this is all that there is?
As I understand it, there were/are 3 or 4 Coyote motors that have had the #8 cyl issue. I heard this from what I would consider a very reliable person while at the NMRA Atco event. As some know that event was marred by rain, there was a lot of time to sit and talk, so this topic did come up. That was in April, so certainly a few more cases may have happened, further, IMO Ford would not have issued a TSB so quickly fir just a few cars. But that is a guess.
more then 10? anymore specifics? ok so more then 10 but less then what? 100? even still thats not bad of a ratio of cars blowin up #8... 99% of which were most likely toonedFrom the internal Ford communication papers they are reporting over 10 cars.
I wish there was something I could use within means to test the quality of the fuel.
idk how it is in other states, but here in the DFW the gas is 10% ethanol. i wonder if thats taken into account when a tuner sends a tune via email to someone in another state.
not all gas is the same.

I would hope they do, but most places is 10% not into gas science but I am assuming more is bad?
Technically the more Ethanol in the fuel, the more detonation resistant it is. It will however lean out your a/f ratio slightly. Being supercharged, I am looking forward to more ethanol in standard pump gas. Now that I have meth injection, I'm not so worried about it though.
