The stock manifolds won't prevent you from making plenty of power. Sell the LT's and put the stockers back on. KISS......keep it simple stupid:)

i never said i was gonna cut up the long tubes. I just dont wanna have to take them off again. I used stage 8 locking bolts and backed them all off till they were wedged against the tubes. Its was a mofo and that was with the engine out of the car. I was gonna shorten the turbo pipe off of the headers. i work at an exhaust shop so it will be cheap and easy so if theres no gain or loss I might give it a shot. This is my 4th power adder change and im just kind of tired of doing everything 4 times lol.

then do it right the first time and put the factory manifolds back on the car. they hold more heat and make the turbo spool up faster. also have them coated. go with a black turbo coating. pm me for more details on that.

If you're getting all hot parts ceramic coated you will be taking the longtubes off anyway, just put stock manifolds back on and be done

LOL. I f you want some one to agree with you I'm afraid you won't find it. If your too lazy to change the headers and think its easier to mod the piping, then just do it and stop wasting our time.

Oh btw at an absolute minimum your gonna want to cermic coat them anyway and you cant do that with them on the car.

Good luck...
