Turn signal permanently on problem 2006 GT

I have a 2006 GT. Suddenly the turn signal (all left side turn signal lights) are permanently lit and won’t come off (not even by turning the ignition off). They are not flashing, they are just on.

It sounds like you have a short in the circuit beginning from the smart junction box.
Therefore you might want to check if the passenger side carpet is wet (search YouTube videos about 05-09 Mustang water leaks) because the SJB terminals may have corroded from water ingress.

Strange electrical gremlins in an 05-09 Mustang = Passenger side water leak until proven otherwise

Alright, will check that out next time I am home. Is that then in the box or after it?

The box is in the passenger side kick panel. Easy to remove the panel. With a flashlight and a keen eye you might be able to see traces of water running to the SJB
