Valve seals?

I was freshening up some ported 3v heads I scored, when I noticed the new valve seals I was installing looked different from the ones I was removing. Any one else ran into this? The new seal is on the right. Just want to make sure these are correct before I put the heads on. Thanks!!

The ones on the right are what the ones I had on my heads originally and when I replaced them. Never had any that looked like the one on the left.

Where are you guys getting seals? I'm going to try some viton units from Rock Auto, probably. These actually look like rubber on the right vs. viton on the left.

The ones on the right are viton seals from Modular Head Shop.

beat me to it, stock seals are 2nd rate, Viton is the way to go
