Valve spring availability

That's why I am not wanting to risk the chance and why I asked about the springs and vct. I knew some started messing with the vct after a certain lbs/in rating.

so did you end up going with a different spring? I hate forking up another 100$ to switch - but this shipping wait is going to prolong my build I forsee. Bringing the block and parts to the machine shop wednesday! I will ask them the expected wait time for the build. and go from there on springs.

I went with the comp 26113 springs, Bruce found me a hell of a deal on eBay for them. Much easier than waiting a month and a half. I should have them Wednesday to be exact.
