Hey there guys I was doing 120 one day and when I started to brake lightly the car felt like it was vibrating. Does this occur to anyone else? If so what did you do to fix this. Could something be going out in my brake system?
Ill jack up my car this following weekend and ill let you all know how it goes! thank you all for the help!
I vote warped rotors. I had that problem with the stock shit but replaced it with better parts and i have none of that even with hard breaking back to back.
Did you just use some brake cleaner?the rear brakes also have the emergency brake. It is a shit system. The rubber boots that are supposed to keep crap out fail in a year or two. I had the same problem, I took apart the brakes, cleaned everything and put it back together making sure I used a good quality, high temp brake lube on the moving parts. Problem solved.
AKA pad material build up on the rotor. A warped rotor is rare, 999 times out of 1,000 it's pad material. Proper bedding in will prevent alot of pad material build up.

agreed. if i get a little rust on the rotors(letting it sit in the rain over night) they quit viberating for a couple of days until the pad material builds back up on the rotors. i hear slotted rotos solve this, but wear the pads faster.
