I lost my shit on this one lol but there is no way that's Darren's garage. I see spots where it looked like someone worked on an actual engine, trans or rear not just HID's, bumpers and fog lights.

The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act prevents the warranty from being voided by a tune (or any aftermarket part) simply being installed on the car (confirmed by the FTC in 2011). However, if the tune (or a part) is found to be the cause of the issue, then yes, the warranty will be voided.

No different than what I linked. Even the TSB chart says if the mods weren't the cause of failure, repair under warranty is the result. If the mods are the cause, then warranty is voided.

hi guys i was wondering if anyone wound know if i would void my factory warranty if i tuned my 2014 gt with a bama hand held tuner?
my mods will only be full exhaust and a cold air intake.

It depends on the stealership. The place I purchased my mustang from pulled the trans 3 times for clutch issues (thanks specs), replaced the clutch packs in the rear end 4 times, and 1 axle before they told me they could not do warranty work on it any more. I was running a Saleen SC with a custom tune, and the dealership was fully aware that I was taking the car to the track almost weekly. Granted you won't find a dealership like that very often. But yes, it does void the warranty if the dealership rats you out.

Not completely true. If you buy the Ford Procal from the dealer and the dealer installs the tune it doesnt void the warranty.
It voids a good part of it though...you lose your 5/60 and just retain the 3/36 from original purchase date. Plus the tune sucks...:beerchug2:
