I think the highest HP non-aftercooled V3 is Steedman. He is using meth though, with stage II? Blower cams.

to push 500+ with out an aftercooler is nuts IMHO, unless you using heavy meth and even then I personally would never do it.

I'm @ 460 @ 12lbs on a Mustang dyno... so could be 500 on a dyno jet. I could get more out of it if I added some LTs and o/r exhaust IMO.

Depends which dyno, but that debate is for another day..I am currently at 441 whp with my stock power robbing automatic on my buddies heartbreaker AWD Mustang dyno.. If you try and push the engine to that power without meth or an after-cooler, you are begging for trouble..I am no expert so take it for what its worth. But I will be running a smaller blower pulley( and a Torque converter) this winter. I dont have an after-cooler, but I run meth.

I'm at right around 500 rwhp right now, with an air/air aftercooler. It'll be closer to 600 in a few weeks.

Stage 1 blower cams, stock Vortech pulley..I will turn up the boost to about 12 psi this winter and start the meth spray sooner..But as of right now, not a hint of detonation or knock..

My car is making 475whp with the supplied 3.6" pulley. That's without longtube headers and delete plates. My car could make 500+whp, but that's really pushing the stock rotating assembly.

My last dyno was 499/452 on a Dynojet, so I'm technically not at 500 yet.

14psi using a T-trim (2.95 pulley) through the Vortech air/air front-mount intercooler on a low-compression forged shortblock, stock heads/cams/etc. Hooker longtubes. 92 octane fuel. Obviously there is a ton of potential left with my car with the built shortblock.

This is actually the same T-trim that used to be on the 675rwhp car mentioned previously, so obviously I can turn it up. I believe I'm basically at the limit of the 6-rib belt at this point; I have basically no belt slip right now with the 2.95 pulley (spinning it to 6700rpm) but I'm sure if I go smaller it will slip.

I'm now at 542 rwhp and 482 ft-lbs of torque on 15 psi of boost. Still have the Paxton air/air aftercooler, built short block at 9.1:1 CR, 10% OD crank, 2.87" pulley, 6 rib, pump gas.

560rwhp here but with a aftercooler, built motor 8:5:1 compression, ect... This is with a s trim with a 2.85 pulley at 15lbs of boost.

Just got the Innovators west crank pulley and soon some cams and hoping to push the boost to 18lbs along with some other tricks up my sleeve but being kept a secret due to being asked to be kept that way.

Are you using the Vortech-brand aluminum 2.87 pulley? Any belt slip issues? Thanks (sorry if this is off-topic). I'm a little surprised that the boost isn't a little higher with the 10% overdrive + the 2.87.

Yeah, regular Vortech pulley, no belt slippage. I think it's because the OD crank pulley gives more belt wrap, so less slipping.

I have long tubes, so the 15 psi sounds right to me. That would be 2 or 3 psi more if I didn't have headers.
