Anyone out there running any of the fuel they sell in the 5 gallon cans?

A ton of local fueling stations/beer stores are selling VP now and sell 20 different kinds of fuel by the can.

I'm running a 2013 5.0 and was wondering which would be worth getting and having a tune built for it? It's expensive but i will do it if i can pick up a few tenths.

Thanks again.

Damn I wish I could find somewhere that sold the VP MS109 locally in a can. I just go load up my VP cans these days.

I make over a 100 extra HP on it compared to my pump ;)

Haha yeah I guess that is so :)

For a basic bolt-on car OP; you are better off by just adding some Torco or similar additive for a more aggressive tune. I would speak to your tuner to see what he suggests if he feels that he could get you a little more power/ET out of it.

Sorry about that, still a newbie.

Thanks for the response. Tempting with it so available.

I suspect the only way you will see any sort of measurable gain would be using an oxygenated fuel whether it be E85, Q16 or something like that. Even then I wouldn't expect to see more than a tenth if that on a stock naturally aspirated engine. With a power adder or higher than stock compression maybe.
