So I had this brilliant idea to remove my valve covers in order to have them powder coated, in the process I tried to remove the VTC grommet and obviously, it's a mess. I need replacement. Is this part separately available, or do I have to purchase the whole valve cover?
Cheers

Anyway. The moral of the story is. Don't try to pry the grommet from the top, instead gently tap it along the bottom perimeter in order to push in from the inside> out.
But then, why would you try to save something so old?
Just rip it all out !!! LOL

Dorman is slightly cheaper, I’m gonna hang it here for future reference.

I got a gasket set from I think CJ Pony that came with the grommets. I won't be using them because the new covers I have I believe already come with them.
