That sounds about right for the weather. Hopefully it will be decent that time of year. Who is tuning it. I may have missed that?

Lito! So I can send files whenever the weather will cooperate. If its like last winter we had a good week then bad. It's been in the 60s here recently so I can't complain yet!

Found a deal I couldn't pass up! I currently have a custom welded axle back with magnapacks but came across these for $140 and couldn't say no!

I still may add a cut out down the road Mikey! I figure the exhaust won't matter much under boost since you won't hear shit over the wastegate haha

I take this on too many long trips for it to be dumped all the time but a QTP cutout will come at some point!

You'll be surprised how quiet your exhaust becomes after a turbo lol. But im sure itll sound sexy regardless!

Dumped exhaust has a high tendency to drone. I had 3" Spintechs with turndowns right afte my x-pipe on my Bullitt and it sounded nasty but would drone your fillings loose while cruising.

I threw a 3" Glasspack on after and it dumped out right before axle, no drone whatsoever. The turnsdowns might have caused it since its basically resonating off ground straight into car lol.

No really visible progress. Got the oil feed and drain tube connected, power steering reservoir relocated, removed the existing exhaust, installed the 60 lb Siemens Deka injectors, lengthened the MAF wires, and cleaned the wheel wells some.

Just ordered a new shift boot and N2MB WOT box today, and SCT tuner on the way.

Here's the maf extended

Take the factory studs out of the exhaust manifolds while you are at it and find different studs or bolts that have the same thread as the holes in the manifolds. The factory studs in the manifolds won't quite let the turbo pipes tighten up enough and you will end up with a leak there.

I did end up doing that on the driver side per Jeremy's suggestion. Did you have trouble with the passenger side too? The only exhaust I had left to remove over the weekend were the factory OTA pipes and my axle back I had made awhile back.

I'm pretty much piddling around til I order the turbo on the 28th

Have you finalized the decision on what turbo you are going to get?

Earl

Yup I'm going with the journal bearing billet wheel comp 67mm from Bobby. Getting high temp black powdercoat on the hotside and gloss back on the compressor side.

That's a good choice, I don't recommend BB turbos on our cars with the high oil pressure we run. Either go with a journal bearing or go Comp Oil-Less.
