Took the car for a quick cruise tonight. Came over a slight rise at about 40 and a deer ran across the road in front of me. Got on the brakes hard and didn't hit it thank you very much. But there was a single beep like the beep you get when the blinker is on too long. Less than a second in duration. Is it related to the anti lock brakes? Is it normal or should I be concerned?

Beep or a tone? I'm not aware of any signal that makes a beep sound, except the horn. Tone, like the seatbelt warning sound, sometimes comes with certain alerts. Also could just be the universe in the oh-sh!t moment.
Wouldn't worry too much about it unless it happens again.

Tone I guess. Not the horn but the warning sound like when you leave the blinker on too long.

That's the first thing that came to me too. It isn't low.

This is from the 2014 owner manual, mentioning a noise from the system, that is normal. You may want to check your manual, in the Anti-Lock Brakes section.

"HINTS ON DRIVING WITH ANTI-LOCK BRAKES When the system is operating, the brake pedal will pulse and may travel further. Maintain pressure on the brake pedal. You may also hear a noise from the system. This is normal."

The sound they're referring to is the ABS unit chattering. I don't believe there's any signal tone for it.
This would be my guess also. Not a beep. Under "Panic" stops the ABS can feel like it is chattering when applied. It is normal and is doing it's job!

So sometimes when I’m racing my 07 GT and I’m bracing my self to take a hard corner and or braking hard sometimes my knee will slightly lift the hand brake for a moment that could set off a chime. I suspect this is my best guess of what you experienced last night. You can confirm this next time you head out for a rip try pulling up you handbrake slightly and see if that’s what you heard

Ive never had a abs chime in my car. And I work that system pretty hard and often

I think this is exactly what happened.

Same here, also at one point, I thought my cruise control was malfunctioning on road trips. It would randomly stop holding my speed.

When I would go over a rough section of road, or shift my body for any number of reasons, I was pushing my knee into the handbrake and causing it to shut off the cruise control.

I didn’t hear the chime (I’m hearing impaired) for a long time, but my wife did, and that’s how I figured it out.
