Up first in this installment of track day videos is the infamous WGI.
This was my first track day with the coyote. Still running the V6 suspension, 12.6" brakes, and I think the NTO1s I finished off at NJMP. 2 min 21 second lap. No telemetry in video yet, just a GoPro. Currently looking through last years videos, and looking for my 91 GT best lap at WGI video. :)

In the rain. Tires are Falken Azenis 615K. I borrowed the 91 GT's street rubber for just such an occasion as a wet session.

Some good tire squeelin' going on there! Good line.

I hate a wet track. My MT's were good for me on a wet track at RA couple years ago. I never went off track but had a couple in front of me go off.

Wet track is the equalizer, and tract time isnt exactly cheap.

You got that right! BIR raised their price to $399 a day(with MN tax it comes to about $425) this year for 6 -25 minute sessions. Only a couple years ago it was $275, last year went to $325, big jump again this year.

I've been called the "track sponge" before. When it's my session I'm going out on track. I am more than happy to help get a dry line started.

This is from the last event with the 91 GT. This is the "Toe of the Boot" starting up the backstretch, aka Sole of the Boot. Toe.JPG

More than likely a good move, especially at a track where runoff room is a bit scarce in a few places.

I found the older RT615's to be decent in the rain at much slower autocross speeds, surprising actually. But I wouldn't want to over-estimate their wet capabilities at WGI either.

And I actually like wet track sessions.

Here is the "Out lap" of one of the sessions seen in the photo. At about 1:55 in the video is where the photo above was taken. June of 16. New-ish NT01s.

That track is definitely on my bucket list, but what an intimidator with the high fences and all that armco barrier.

Yes, but you kinda get used to it after some time.

I have a really good session video of the 07/coyote.
But after creating it and watching it, the video quality is crap. Do you guys still want to see it?

Here it is. Again, I do believe it is time for a new recording device.
Poor quality video warning.
