wax or sealant first?

It is debatable and what not however it is not a problem to use one on top of the other. The usual way is to lay a sealant below the wax but it depends on the sealant and the wax used. Many times a sealant is put on first because it offers far more protection and longevity. Waxes specifically carnuabas have a short life span and can wear off quickly. However sealants lack the depth and gloss that a wax has.

How often do you plan on washing and regularly waxing?

What do the directions on the bottle say? Typicly you seal first, then wax.

Klasse underneath every 6 months or so and I would apply Nattys as needed, i.e. if you only drove it 3 days for one month don't wax but if you drove it for a whole month daily then give it a wax. I roughly estimate Natty's will last you 1-2 months with solid driving.

I used the klaase all-in-one and followed with the sealant glaze on my wifes car and there are some swirl marks left from the sealant. Is this normal, not buffed enough, or what? Let it dry for 8 hours then wiped off. A microfiber towel didn't touch it had to use a terry cloth. Please help before i put it on my mustang.

8 hours? Is that based on the directions? That is way too long for most. 10 minutes would be more than enough in most cases.

Was the car done indoors or in direct sunlight? If you did it outside in the sun, you are screwed and have a lot of work ahead of you...

Klasse will fill in most minor swirls but not all of them, so that could be one thing. How did you apply the sealant? with a buffer or by hand cause if a pad is dirty that could cause problems too.

Klasse is funny thought im not positive on its working directions, but you normally are supposed to let it sit for quite some time usually an hour or so. Then you wait another 8-10 hours for a second coat or more. Klasse actually is very hard to take off after 10 minutes and what not but the longer you let it sit the easier it becomes. It also needs to be applied vary sparingly.

stripe scratches

I got stripes applied to my car and when I picked it up I nearly fainted it was that good! howevre, after bringing it home and looking closely in the garage under flo lights I can see where he sanded at the edges and it left small scratches and a whitish dullness about 1 inch along the stripes.

When I brought it back to him he said I'm too picky and its normal. you cant see it outside unless you hunch over. sorry but this is the nicest car I've ever owned and it bugs me!....also I only take it out for a 2mi spin everyday and wipe it down with microfiber. I had a 03 sonoma that I had for 1.5 yrs and only washed it once! it was shineir than most new cars....

any comments?
