Yes 08 GT500 iron block and tranny. But that car was listed at a curb weight of 3920, so Im glad with the 20s I am still ~100 lbs lighter.
Bigpappy....
Yeah mine came in at like 3970 I think with atleast a half a tank plus spare and jack..
But keep in mind I have the 4r70w so I'm sure it's no light weight
For things that effect the weight I have the BMR k member:sway delete/Che control arms:8.8 axlebrace: tranny crossbrace that looks to be soild steel possible 20-30 lbs(for the auto)
But I have some janky type 18's so I'm sure those are not helping
It's about 8LBs a gallon.
true .... i was hoping to come in at 37XX..ohh that was with me in the car
That would be nice! I need to lose weight so my car is faster hahaMy 2007 coupe weighs 3580 lbs with me in it. I weighed about 160-170 ish. Only weight reduction was an odyssey battery. I think if I take out the passenger seat, get an AL driveshaft, and mount my racestars, take out everything in the trunk, I *might* get it down to 3400lbs with me in it.
the 3970 was with meout of the car with me in it its about 4170 sighh....

So, this thread made me curious about my '11 GT coupe. It's a base model, so there's no tech/luxury junk (SYNC, Shaker stereo, leather, etc.). With the Brembo Pkg, there's no spare/jack from the factory. I took it to the truck scales today. With 1/4 tank of gas, it weighs 3,530 lbs. Add me (170 lbs) and it's an even 3,700 lbs with me in the car.
I've weighed my last 4 Mustangs and they're getting heavier and heavier...
'00 GT = 3,180 lbs.
'03 Mach 1 = 3,380 lbs.
'07 GT = 3,450 lbs.
'11 GT = 3,530 lbs.
