thank you everyone!

Congrats Seer! Sweet car! I am all jelly. Are you going with nitrous this time around too?
no idea as of yet, nitrous and boost does seem like a nice combo :D
Congrats Seer, i cant imagine how excited you must be.
That I am. There is actually an interesting story behind this purchase.
Back in 1968, 2 weeks before my grandfather turned 40, he walked into a dealership and had purchased a 1968 Shelby GT500 King of the Road.
Growing up, seeing that thing in the garage... well you can just guess what that does to someone. We had sold the car a few years after he died back in the early 2000s (car only had 3200 miles).
Now, a few weeks before my 30th, I guess I did the same.

No offense, but I can't see why anyone would buy a 2012 with the 2013 5.8 about to roll out.

It is definitely a beautiful car. That is one of my favorite base/stripe color combos.

because the 2012 could be had at $80 Over invoice. I unofficially know what the 2013s base msrp is. Do you think dealers will sell it for $80 over invoice. Besides the gt500 mods very easily.

I don't understand why anyone would buy the '13... I mean the 2015 GT500 will be even more badass...

Nice car dude, but black? Enjoy cleaning it. :chairfall:

^ with that strategy no one would ever buy a new car as they would always be waiting for the new badass model...unless you were being sarcastic.

Western PA winters and GT 500's=tucked away for the winter! Hope the weather holds a little while so you can enjoy it before you have to park it until May!

Heh, that was the main reason i got rid of my 2008 mustang. The grey is MUCH easier to clean and keep clean.

nano resin + anti static detail spray = clean non dusty black car :D

Congrats brother! I know I'd be excited as hell! I want an SVT GT500 so bad it's unreal. Just can't afford it! Hell can't afford what you got either. LOL!

When I was 30, I was driving around in a mini-van and we only had the one car. I had a motorcycle, but in Colorado, there are only so many months a year you can ride. So also, congrats on doing well enough in life to be able to purchase such a fine example of a Mustang!
