Well if anyone who has a set up thats similar to what I am shooting for let me know how its working out for you... Here it goes.. TOTAL Labor, install, and Paint around $15,000 (yes it was quoted) But can be financed with a loan and may allow me to finish this project in the next 2.5 years(No probs)

$42,500 for the parts $15,000 for labor not bad scince I bought the GT Used for $18,000
soo around $72,000 for a 298ci 3 valve v8 supercharged street/strip car that can smoke almost anything on the road and still retain comfort(-lol)?

everything looks alright except the SHM motor and the Cervini's body kit.


close but there is more ......

KB BAP needs to be a dual 40 amp bap
tranny will be garbage in 2 days with those pulleys
lastly with that kit, those potential numbers, and that exhaust I see nothing but problems coming from that bent up ass kit ....jmo

alright thx for ur input and yeah I was originally takling bout the competition 40 amp bap working with the ford racing pumps anyways buut about the tranny... I think the Super street fighter would hold no? I mean it is rated to 1200hp if its not BS.. and im only going to race it 6-8 times a year anyways and it be my weekend car, soooo.

The exhaust now... idk ive seen/read of KB ppl runnin the cervini pypes exhaust without probs at 700+rwhp buut if youve heard differently then let me know specificly what the prob was.

Build sounds nice. I got one question though, I hope your car will be a garage queen with a 14k paint job. Can't wait to see the results.

personally i wouldn't use anything tci....order a lentech 4r70w and a PI multidisk converter and call it a day

pssst riddle me this then , they have 2 going on 3 cars ( that im aware of ) in the us over the 1200hp mark which one did they test it on ? exactly

It very well might but it just goes against my logic .....

..order a 4r70w and a multidisk converter and call it a day

Cervinis doesn't use Pypes anymore. They use a magnapak midmuffler... I believe they switched about a year/year-half ago. Unless they switched back.

Don't know, I know my exhaust is 8 months old (sig pic is old) and I got the magnas... Honestly I think it sounds the same as every other one I have heard. Of course maybe I have only heard magnas though.. haha

But, it could be like the FRPP and Steeda exhaust, just a name slapped on the same exhaust ya know. :/

+1,000,000.... the 5R55S won't live long at 600+ rwhp. Mine was mortally wounded at 18psi, and it didn't take long. That's why the 4R70W is going in right now.

well let me know what you have to do/ what you have to get to convert the transmission from 5R55S to 4R70W PLEASE
