After further thought, I decided to try to other reducer that came with the lance and what do you know... it screws right into the end of the spray gun in place of the existing wand. So I am all set now, except for the detergents.

Issue with Chemical Guys is this, they make a lot of products that are relatively similar to one another. You need to pay close attention to which one in their product series works and which ones are a pain.

That is my only gripe with them.

first time ever buying non-autozone/walmart stuff:

zymol: hd cleanse, carbon, field glaze, leather cleaner, and leather conditioner. couldn't pass up the 25% off sale for fathers day

the scary part is i still need to spend a few hundred on everything else to get my paint in top shape. i only thought i was doing it justice before i got on this forum
