Only reason I am considering leaving the resonators in is they supposedly help keep the sound a bit less crackly poppy and tinny sounding. I want a deep gurgle and thats it.

You will be fine with GT500's. Did you listen to the video I posted? It sounds throaty and deep. No more cracks or pops then with them and no rasp. I took my resonators off and the tone didn't really change, just made it a little louder.

Really? Small world. His muffler delete set up sounded horrid, hence why he added the GT500's it seems. Do you have resonator deletes? What axle back, or did you buy your own GT500?

Yeah I've known him for a couple years, met back when we both had rams

But yeah he said muffler deletes was way too loud for his liking. I'm running o/r h, factory resonators, and muffler deletes right now. It's not too loud but around 2000 rpm it sounds like an old truck(annoying poppy sound), so I'm probably gonna throw on my stock mufflers. Then just deal with the whole system in the fall

I tell them it's not a gas guzzler, it runs on ethanol and is completely green...what does your car run on?

That's usually the end of the conversation.

OH man you guys need to move down to OC, very few treehuggers here, and the ones we do have are tattooed and drive pickups.
