Yup, single layer lift off. It is from Feather Carbon but I went through Chris Matters. If you go that route I'd suggest going through Chris just to make sure you get taken care of in good time. I'm assuming he is probably a member here but let me know if you need/want his contact info. Looks like it'll be about 23lbs lighter than stock. Racecraft Inc makes dzus rails for our cars to make the mounting easier.

The pump fuel I put in my tvs car was apparently the cause of the knock issues showing up in the logs.

I put 5g of 105 octane VP in there with about 3g of that leftover "premium" I got from the pump and now no more knock reported.

Complained about it to the station for all the good it'll do me. What a ripoff.

Keep the quality of the local gas in mind with timing on final tune.

I can't run a good tune with the winter fuel we get here. Blow up the car. Solution was to only run on summer fuel. :(

Put my Roush rear springs in last night, not sure how long I'll have the car out driving before I pull the 8.8 to install the truetrac and I'm finishing up the front suspension this wekeend. Need to torque down all of the fasteners yet with the car at ride height, that upper differential housing bushing really spun and relaxed after I loosened the bolt with the car sitting on the new springs! Car looks a lot lower/better, you can also tell the springs are somehow almost less stiff than stock, seems like the suspension can actually move. Hope the ride improves.

I had to remove the calipers to get the stock springs out - no slack left in the lines. Could have used spring compressors I guess, but man I hate those things.

Here's what 6 years of daily driving year round does to the area under the jounce dampers:

I peened all of that scale off, hit the surface with a wire brush and put down some zinc for now. Will paint the 8.8 when it comes out for the truetrac, axle pinning, etc...

Drove past the dealer I traded my 07 at last October. Still there, and probably will be at that price...

Fast forward three weeks, now it's at a smaller, used car lot 15 miles north of the other lot that has more "performance oriented" vehicles...still overpriced for the market...

It will suck to have to run some neutered tune with 10 degrees of timing. I will see what other stations have. I may end up needing to run an additive when I plan on getting my foot into it.

Hmmm that would be cool if you wouldn't mind. I can't do anything now since I am balls deep trying to get the engine together but i am back and forth with the tiger racing hood in carbon fiber since I think that would be good for open track days.

Gave the car its first LOF and tire rotation since I've had it. Also decided that the Pypes muffler deletes are too obnoxious (they might be up for sale soon).

Oh, and wiped about an inch of splattered bugs off the front end. Remind me not to drive through the country on a humid night ever again!

Installed these today and they look great IMO. Very easy install.

I like em! but I dunno if I want them or not?!!

Been debating for months now and something about them I keep backing off before clicking the buy button.
