I put the lca's back in the stock holes with the bracket still in place because it is welded. Everything is centered back up now, I know the pinion angle is still probably off though with the stock uca. Judging by the orientation of the bumpstops, the axle has a very slight clockwise twist now. I'm guessing thats just because of the pinion angle though.
I'm positive the lca brackets have been welded in wrong, pretty sure the guy welded them in with the axle hanging and not loaded. I'm guessing they are in at the wrong angle, I have attached a pic of them.
Now my question is how to go about fixing this issue.
1 - If I get adj lca's, will they be able to be adjusted short enough to compensate for the brackets being welded in wrong?
2 - If adj lca's are able to fix the problem, do I still need an adj uca for the pinion angle or will I be able to adjust that with the lca's without messing up centering of the axle due to the brackets being installed incorrectly?
3 - Or should I just try and grind out the lca brackets and have them rewelded correctly?
I already have bmr non-adj lca's installed so i would have to sell those to get adj ones and then a new uca either adj or non-adj because of the loose rod end in my steeda uca.
I appreciate all the info guys, hopefully I can get this issue resolved.
