LOL!!!! I said the same thing! I seriously thought, someone's got to be fucking with me, I just finished replying in that one too!

At least this thread is a little clearer I guess! :sigh1:

OK, OP if you really want to go for a full road race car setup I would highly recommend the Griggs Racing GR40RT full chassis system! Be sure to post build thread if you go for this option, I'd love to see that! :thumb2:

Or, you could actually bother to read through this section of the forum like I previously recommended in your other thread about exactly the same thing, or maybe even try the search function... like I also recommended in that very same thread, and see what you come up with!

Is the purpose of this "road race" car to actually road race? Not to sound condescending but based on your question the best thing you can do to improve the handling of your car is drive it. Attend some track days and after you get somewhat familiar with it then start modding the suspension.

To the OP

If you give us clear indication of what your objectives are for the car, e.g. aggressively driven DD, auto x, road course track days and your own level of experience you may find more useful answers forthcoming. Remember however that this has been thrashed over lots of times already and the search tool is your friend.

We also need to know the year of your V6 and any mods that have already been done to it including, but not limited to, tires

Yes I do have some mods. Intake wider wheels and tires and cat back exhaust. I do have a lil track time a texas world-speedway.

Good luck with that! He has two threads running simultaniously here about exactly the same thing, with everyone asking exactly the same thing as you in both threads and yet he's not been able to provide any sort of truly useful information what-so-ever! :banghead:

Oh, other than he wants a fully blown (V6) FR500c road racer... or, on second thoughts, maybe he'll just make do with it being lowered a tad for now! :kill:

I say, if he really wants a badass FR500, he should buy Scalextric track and a 1/32 Scalextric Ford Mustang FR500 #3000 Slotcar instead, which I'm sure would keep him entertained for hours, and then spend his remaining budget, whatever the fuck that may be... yet another unanswered question... and use it to take some English lessons! Maybe then he'll be able to spell and 'wright' proper innit! :highfive:

Hey, I'm interested in this as well, but $15+ g's is crazy. Any toned down suggestions for those without a trust fund?

Whilst the GR40RT chassis/suspension package is indeed one of the best, if not the best, you can buy for the S197, I was actually being sarcastic with my recommendation of it to the OP in this thread!

The point I was making is that the OP should identify what he actually wants to use his car for and then what is realistically achievable within his budget restraints, etc. via doing some research on the Corner Carver Racing Tech Discussion section of this forum and using the SEARCH function, as this topic has been covered countless times before!

You say that you're "interested in this as well", what is it that you're interested in exactly? It's just that the OP is about as clear as mud with regards to what he actually wants! Don't bother asking him either, you'll just get a load of nonsensical bollocks in response!

Maybe what you mean is that you too want a 'Mustang GTR' or a 'FR500c road race car'? You do know that the GTR was a concept car right?

Actually, it turns out... I think... that the OP actually only wants/can only afford for his car to be lowered a little bit... so is that what you want?

Whatever it is that you're "interested in", I guarantee you can find all the information that you could ever want right... HERE!
