what temp is considered "cold"

Sooo. Finally got my new tires installed (nitto 305/35/18) ultra HP SUMMER tires. I did hear that they are not to good in cold weather. But I they still break loose in 4th with ease... it was aout 58 degrees outside... what is the cutoff for cold temps 80?!

With as cold as it is in abq currently almost nothing will give you great traction. Check the pressure on those tires.

Anything under 50 and summer tires start suffering big time.

The Pirelli PZero's on my car, they urge you not to drive under 40 degrees. But you can feel them spin at inappropriate times below 55 degrees or so

I know "all seasons" lose grip and the rubber hardens at anything less then 45 degrees. I imagine a softer compound summer tire would get pretty hard and lose significant traction around the same temp if not even closer to 55.
