I hate to ask guys but im not sure what is the best route. I am getting ready to purchase a TrueTrac for my car and Im wanting to do a gear change in the process. The car put down 615/500 and its a street car with 20" drag radials, 3500 stall auto and it seems to hook rather well with the stock gears, I dont want to have major traction issues with the car should I stay with stock ratio? Maybe go up to some 355's or 373's? I plan to get the car to the track but it will be mostly a street car and I didnt know if 373's would be to much of a difference. What do you think?

TIA,

I have 373's sitting in my garage but did not know if it would be best. I really dont want to fight for traction with this car, to me its already a handful and im still getting to know it. Thanks for the replies

I have 4:10s and 1st gear is useless . I would go with the 3:73 gear .
I'm guessing you don't have an auto trans or drag radials...

I'm not sure how good 20" DRs are on the street. But, I can tell you that with 4.10s and the 17" M&Hs, mine is very streetable. With you having a centri, 3.73s should be fine. Unless those 20" tires really suck.

To be honest with you I really cant compare the 20" Drag Radials to anything other than my previous 04 Mach 1 with 18" M&H's (big power difference now though). But with these 20"/305's they really seem to hook, I just dont know how far im pushing them so I figured that I would ask. Thanks for the comments and I think im going to just use the 373's since I already have them and so far everyone thinks I will be good.
