I live in the nutsack of Texas, the only thing we have to worry about here in flooding. I haven't seen a real winter here since 2005. Before that, no one had seen a real winter since the 1930s.
I just bought moth balls and scented dryer sheets tonight to spread around the garage. Then spent the day breaking down the boat also since the forecast has been $hitty for weeks. There was solid ice in the bird bath and most hoses this AM. Cape Cod is starting to go into winter mode. My '05 stays mobile, but won't come out on freshly salt/sand buried roads. The car runs great when it's about 20º or less and I'm N/A…
I had a '87 Grand National that loved the cold weather.
Ugggh, just heard Barry O while writing this … F-ing stumper
Mine's now officially parked for the winter. We had a crappy as hell summer, but actually a fairly nice fall. It's supposed to snow this weekend, and probably won't stop till May.
I have a few things planned but nothing for certain as of yet.
Working on my resume so I can find a job in Florida. I'm sick of the Chicago winters and my severance runs out in March so I need to get my ass in gear.
Looking at the St. Pete / Tampa or Boca / Miami areas.
