What mods do you have that let you trap 109?

I cut a 1.53 yesterday with 540-lbs-rwtq and launching @5000,, 4.56 gears, 28x10.5x17 Hoosier slicks, and a new clutch .

Last Sunday I managed a 1.43 60' but the fuse blew on my BAP so the car shut down well before the 1/8 mile so I don't have a time for the run. After that I turned the boost down and was cutting consistent 1.47 60's with 10.4x runs at 131-132mph.

I have M&H 325/50/15 drag radials, stock shocks and springs, single drag airbag in the passenger side at 10psi, CHE LCA relo brackets, J&M street extreme LCA's, JPC race UCA mounted to a UPR UCA mount and a prothane bushing on the top of the diff.

Nittos are horrid track tires IMO. When I first started drag racing my car I bought a used set of Nitto 555r tires and Race Star wheels. Used them for 2 weeks and ordered a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets from AM. I ended up cutting a best 1.63 short time with those Mickeys.

Yea I think I need to grab a set because me and my buddy both have similar setups and he had the same issues as me with them there is no dumping them, I came out on the clutch that was the only way I could even leave the line period

You just need some suspension upgrades and stickier tires. What size are your rear wheels?

UPR's 2010 GT 3V pulls 1.35 60-foot times on UPR street suspension and drag radials.

Let me know whenever Al's ready to get spanked. BMR's Boosted Coyote vs UPR's Boosted Coyote. We're on UPR street suspension and 275 DRs. :doggy:

Boost for boost?

:funnypost:You know the car has an NLR boost controller, right? I think Jeremy plays with the boost controller in the staging lanes just to stay entertained. Who knows what boost he runs? Either way, pound for pound wouldn't be fair for you. (Turbo efficiency vs TVS efficiency)

Sharad, are you guys going to race at the NMRA Atlanta race?

Not sure what the plans are. I'll ask Mark tomorrow. I've been trying to get them to do that Coyote Shootout in Ohio. Granted, our 4000lb pooch would be like bringing a knife to a gunfight, but racing's fun, right?! Anyway, I'll lean on Mark a little and tell him we need to do a UPR vs BMR match race. I'll let you know what he says.
