As weird as it sounds sometimes I really miss racing the 05. The 13 is almost a second faster but somehow the 05 was more fun because people really didn't expect it to run as fast as it did

That is actually very fun, had a guy that ran a 5.0 talk to me on line at the track last year.
He was talking about his mods I think an intake and axle back nothing major.
He told me he just ran 12.8 I was like nice man keep it up!

Then he asked me what I ran I told him 12.68 he was like oh, supercharger? with a confused look on his face:roflmao:

Haha...I had a similar incident a couple weeks ago at the track. Good stuff man!

YUP! Nitrous?? It's all good stuff, lots of fun.

Now do UDP's really make a seat of the pants difference?

The only think I could notice (without getting on a dyno) is that it seems to rev up a bit quicker or "free-er" I press the pedal and it's at 4k quicker than before the pulleys. Not sure how much HP is freed up but it definitely can't hurt and part of the complete bolt-on breakfast.

2006 auto, LT's, CAI, Hod rod cams, 3000 stall, bama mail tune - 13.2 @ 102ish.
Not sure how the rest of you are running so fast?? That's my best run.
Elevation is about 1500ft. No tire spin.
I am putting on a aluminum DS, UDP's and CMDP hoping to run a very high 12.

Get that car on a dyno and see where your power loss is coming from. Also are you still on the stock 3.31 gears?. Thats probably hurting you too.

Even at 1500ft trapping 102 with those mods is suspect.

also, what size drag radials are you running? i ran 13.20 at 105 with 3.31's, radials, h-pipe, email tune. that's it. sounds like you're losing power in the big end, and or the air must have been in the 90's. i made that pass in 50 degree weather wheel hopping with a 1.98 60 ft. need a bit more info about your pass, 60ft and 1/8th.

Yup, stock 3.31. I'd love to see what I'm putting down. I'm going to wait until my CMDP's are on along with my UDP's and see what it does.

Running a 27in nt05 - no spin. The air was great, if I remember I even looked and DA was around 800ft at 60 deg. My 60's weren't too bad with my 3.31 gear at 1.8ish (3000 stall). I don't have my slips to remember exact numbers as I wanted to throw them away when I was done.

1.8's aren't too bad with 3.31's. I was only seeing low 1.9's at best with the 3.31's and that was launching at 6k with a dead hook (bog). It went 12.97@106 on a 1.92 60'.

By chance do you sit in the staging lanes with your engine running?

I try not to. In fact, I have a supersnake hood (vented) that dissipates heat quite well.
It isn't "heat soak". I've let it cool down in between runs and actually it is VERY consistent - which is great in bracket racing.
I'm starting to get a little upset after reading this thread again...I mean...I should be a second faster and trying to flirt with 11's instead of 12's.... BS

Maybe hotrods and a 3000-3400 tc. Idk if I will do them or not but would like to. Cant complain about the car, just drove the car 1500 miles in the last week from Baton Rouge, La to Branson, Mo. Never gave me any problems and was fun playing around in the Ozark Mountains. The biggest hills we have here are the potholes in the roads so it was a nice change. Lol
