9's with a 67 ?

I cant tell you how fast the precision PTE6776, e-cover, t4 .96 ar housing will make the car, too many factors but I can tell how much power you can make with it, around 700 rwhp which is plenty of power for 9's on a properly setup drag car.

Jason Reese run's mid 11's at 120mph with the ph kit with the 67mm at 8psi. Only mod I believe is dumped the wg to atmosphere.

very respectable times...I ran a 11.5 @118 with my kb @ 10psi before a couple rods decided to let loose...

What suspension mods have been done?

none....m&h d/r

dang..lol...Good thing Im getting more power..You have a monster!

I ran my 11.5 with 28" slicks, 15x10.5 drag wheels, almost full suspesion, etc with the kenne bell...turbos have lag and I have instant power...basically is what im saying is nice job. lol

Put some lca's, bmr xtreme anti roll bar, and some better springs and you will be in the 10's without upping your boost.

A turbo on a v8 really doesn't have lag in the traditional sense. Lag would be the delay from you hitting the gas till the time the turbo starts making boost. They just have spool time lol, from the moment you hit the gas they are spooling so there really is next to no lag anymore on a properly setup system. My setup builds boost at 1/4 throttle normal accel just off idle.

You have instant torque with that kb, not power. The power curve is still mostly linear but does initialy build more than a centri setup.

Op what was your 60ft? I wouldnt touch the suspension yet he is running just fine with it stock.

I would add a boost controller which will increase low end torque and mid range power and dump the wastegate to atmosphere if you can stand the noise. That way the wg doesnt have to fight back pressure in the downpipe. Simple easy things that will pay off big for a turbo setup.

Oh and nice times lol. As you can see you ran low 11's at 10psi, 10's are already there with a few tweaks and the kits are capable of 9's with the 67 for sure.

^Exactly.

Once youre above the boos threshold the turbo will spool instantly. By which I mean that if you stab the throttle at high RPM there will be no noticeable lag.
The only time it will "lag" will be at very low RPM where it doesnt matter.

i need to work on getting a trans-brake. i could only get about 1 psi on footbrake with 2step it only cut a 1.7 sixty..not spinning...it would get to about the tree and hit 10psi....and from there on it was pretty much a boring ride..

my thoughts are "its not considered boost until your past 16psi".

Is that a stock short block in the car you bought? If so then I would say "It's not considered trash until your past 16 psi".
